About Conference

The Seventh International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Communications and Business Analytics (CICBA 2025) aims to carry together researchers, engineers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry to share their experiences, and exchange and synthesize their ideas. CICBA 2025 will be organized by the Department of Information Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata during July 4-6, 2025. CICBA 2017 and CICBA 2018 were organized by Calcutta Business School, Kolkata, and Kalyani Government Engineering College, Kalyani, respectively. The first two series of this international conference were organized in association with the Computer Society of India. The third conference of this series was organized in 2021 by the Department of Computer & System Sciences, Visva-Bharati University. The fourth international conference of this series was organized in 2022 by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Assam University. The fifth and sixth series of the conference was organized in 2023 and 2024 by Kalyani Govt. Engg. College and National Institute of Technology, Patna, respectively. All these previous series of this conference constituted a collection of high-quality peer-reviewed research papers received from all over the world. The chairs and co-chairs of different committees consisted of international academic and industrial luminaries, and the Technical Program Committee comprised of technical experts, in all the series.

The proceedings publication partner in all the previous conferences was Springer Nature in CCIC series.

The Seventh conference of this series, CICBA 2025 is inviting all research findings in the field of Computational Intelligence (CI) - both Theories and Applications primarily encompassing the domains of Data Communications and Analytics. This international conference will offer a comprehensive platform for the research community to exchange their ideas on contemporary augmentation from the relevant topics.

The importance of computational intelligence (CI) is ever increasing because of its applications becoming all pervasive. Among so many application domains we, for the present, have highlighted two viz. Communications and Analytics for inviting research contributions into. This is notwithstanding other areas of application of computational intelligence. Now a days it is a great challenge to develop smart communication systems and networks that support optimized management, dynamic configuration and feasible services in communications. The research field of Computational Intelligence and cognitive radio computing are interdisciplinary and uses knowledge and methods from many areas which are very capable approaches to deal with dynamic and large-scale topology; thus, we need to explore CI-based techniques such as statistical learning, feed forward neural networks, perceptron, deep recurrent neural networks, optimizations, etc., for complicated decision making, network management, resource optimization and in-depth knowledge discovery in complex communication environments. Similarly, CI is a collection of techniques that excel to extract insights and patterns from large sets of data, and then making predictions based on that information. In fact, CI exists today that can help us to get much more value out of the data, unify that data, and for predictions about user behaviors based on it.

Jadavpur University, Kolkata

Jadavpur University is a State University founded on 24 December 1955 under the Jadavpur University Act (West Bengal Act XXXIII of 1955). Originating in the anti-colonial National Council of Education, Bengal (1906) to achieve self-reliance through the empowerment of youth by imparting the best of global knowledge, technical education, and awareness of social, cultural, political, economic realities of the state, the nation, and the world. The university has consistently set new frontiers in science, technology, humanities, and social science innovation and outreach; it has provided research and policy support for state and national governments and international bodies, and conventional and non-conventional technological development for society at large, including both established industries and disadvantaged groups, through innovation and adaptation.

Department of Information Technology

Department of Information Technology under Jadavpur University is the youngest department of the university, establihed in the year of 2000. Fusion of digital communication, network technologies and software methodologies necessitates new skills and theoretical background. There is a strong requirement of large number of trained professionals to meet the growing job market in IT sector. Thus, a new star is born in the form of a new academic programme at Jadavpur University in 2000 which in turn became a full-fledged department of Information Technology in 2001.
