By Rail: Superfast trains like Rajdhani Express, Coromandel Express, Shatabdi Express, and Gitanjali Express join it to the national capital and major and nearby cities. The city has three major stations Howrah, Sealdah, and Kolkata (Chitpur). Sealdah is the nearest and well-connected by Bus, Auto, and Taxi to the Saltlake Campus of the University.
